Tea Time

The temperature changed in the blink of an eye this year. The mornings were cold and we huddled around the fire in the mornings.

A cup of tea warmed this boy to the core.

Blueberry Picking

Never in my life did I think my kids would have the patience to go berry picking. Callum was so into it. He didn’t even want to eat a ton of them, he really seemed to just like the process.

Max on the other hand couldn’t eat them fast enough.

Backyard Date

The forecast promised summer! So we all piled into our friend’s backyard, and we all basked in the sun. The kids were in awe of the heat and the water and sun warming their skin.

It felt like our first summer day.

The Proposal

My promise for this 365 challenge was that I wouldn’t use any work for my photo a day. I wanted this challenge to consist of personal photos.

But watching my cousin’s proposal, after being in on the plan for the last several months…well, it doesn’t get more personal than that.

I was honestly shaking and crying when I took this photo, so I’m super happy it’s in focus. What an incredible honour to document something so monumental for someone I love so much.

Congrats Karley & Adam, love you both!

January Book

I tried to set a goal for my body, a goal for my mind, and a goal for business this year. My goal for my mind was to read more –  I’m trying to do one a month.

January’s book is Love Warrior by Glennon Doyle Melton, and I can’t put it down.
